John is a Partner at Derwent, leading our Interim Solutions practice. Based in Sydney, he brings close to two decades of experience connecting organisations with high-impact interim talent across C-suite and senior leadership appointments, business transformation, and project delivery.

John is known for his agility and versatility, working across a broad range of industries, functions, and locations to find the right solution quickly. He works with mid-market, private equity, and enterprise clients to provide the capacity and capability needed to drive immediate change, whether placing C-suite talent into critical transition roles, deploying transformation professionals into complex programs, or solving urgent leadership gaps at pace. Passionate about partnering with leaders and organisations that need to move fast, he brings a practical, problem-solving approach to every engagement.

Prior to joining Derwent, John spent over a decade as a Director at US-listed staffing firm and its global consulting arm, where he built deep expertise in interim executive solutions and business transformation delivery. Earlier in his career, he held General Manager roles across the leisure, fitness, and entertainment industries, giving him firsthand experience of the operational pressures and challenges his clients navigate.
